Dating back to 1887, Fort Sheridan includes a National Historic Landmark district. Many of the buildings and grounds were designed by renowned architectural firm Holabird & Roche—which designed some of the world’s first skyscrapers—and Ossian C. Simonds, who designed Chicago’s Lincoln Park.
